Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Why disposable plastic tablecloths are harmful for human being and environment?

A: Because they are often made of PVC (#3 plastic). PVC (vinyl) tablecloths are considered among the most toxic consumer plastics due to the release of harmful additives like phthalates, lead, and cadmium, along with the creation of dioxins during production. These chemicals can leach into food, dust, or air, posing risks of cancer, hormone disruption, and reproductive harm

  2. What materials are your reusable tablecloths? Are they safer?

A: Our tablecloths are made of polyester. Polyester is generally more stable and does not contain the same toxic additives found in PVC. It is a form of plastic (PET), but it is considered safer in terms of direct chemical exposure. Additionally, it is light, durable and easy to clean or wash, making it suitable for events and much more environmental friendly.
