Sharon Niu is a passionate artist and dedicated student, and has been honored to be chosen as a youth leader for ZIRAN. She has worked with the nonprofit to spread awareness about environmental sustainability efforts through many events, which include operating Eco Street at the Asian Fair, and volunteering at their Garden Gather and Swap earlier this year.

Sharon has also acted as an organizer between MinnSea Academy and ZIRAN, leading a team of volunteers in setting up their "LET IT GO — swap and flea market" exchange, a successful event where dozens of families gathered to trade unused old (and new) clothes, tools, electronics, and furniture alike. She hopes that efforts to increase awareness around sustainable living may help preserve the natural beauty of the world, not just for artists, but for everyone.

As a youth leader, she strives to involve a younger generation in creating a better future.
